Patterns in the 9 times table
- The last digits repeat every 10 steps: 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 0.
- The answers alternate odd, even, odd, even — odd whenever you multiply by an odd number.
- Up to 9 × 10 the digits of every answer add up to 9 (18 → 1 + 8, 27 → 2 + 7).
- 9 × 9 = 81 is the square. The answers run from 9 to 108.
