Patterns in the 3 times table
- The last digits repeat every 10 steps: 3, 6, 9, 2, 5, 8, 1, 4, 7, 0.
- The answers alternate odd, even, odd, even — odd whenever you multiply by an odd number.
- The digits of every answer add up to a multiple of 3 (for example 24 → 2 + 4 = 6).
- 3 × 3 = 9 is the square. The answers run from 3 to 36.
