Patterns in the 4 times table
- The last digits repeat every 5 steps: 4, 8, 2, 6, 0.
- Every answer is even.
- Double, then double again: 4 × 7 is 7 doubled (14) and doubled again (28).
- 4 × 4 = 16 is the square. The answers run from 4 to 48.
