Patterns in the 5 times table
- The last digits repeat every 2 steps: 5, 0.
- The answers alternate odd, even, odd, even — odd whenever you multiply by an odd number.
- Half of the number, times ten: 5 × 8 is half of 8 (4), then a zero — 40.
- 5 × 5 = 25 is the square. The answers run from 5 to 60.
